Hey all, hope everyone had a wonderful winter holiday (and summer for all those in the south )!
Both 2011 and 2012 was full of unpleasant medical issues for me and a loved one, which definitely was a true eye opener on disease, death, and the preciousness of life. I'll be heading into 2013 with a completely different view of this world for sure. I pray for everyone's happiness, and for the strength to get through some awful shit if they happen to be in it.
Also had two amazing deviantartists do some crazy stuff with my work, which was truly awe inspiring and encouraging in all sorts of ways.
First, the amazing jerrysponge created an amazing photo version of "The Dovahkiin's Astrid" fav.me/d5r248r.
Then the fantastic suicidebyinsecticide had a crazy tattoo of "Metamorphosis" on her arm done fav.me/d5jdjkx.
No words to describe how cool that is of them. Thanks so much, and thanks to Deviantart for an amazing community. Looking forward to another year of life!

Finished Mass Effect 3 (spoilers)
Stayed home for two entire weekends and worked on ME3, morning to night, to finish the game as soon as possible. I feel way too old to play games 16 hours straight, but it was worth it!
Bioware is a really special company for pulling something like Mass Effect off. I really need to thank them for letting me enjoy such an amazing world. Never thought I would enjoy a game romance, haha. Actually it's a pretty important thing to me, since there are so few fictional romance stories out there that I can feel a real heartfelt feeling for. Makes me wonder about human emotions a lot, what makes a heart feel something - is it DNA? Culture? Expectatio
A place for my WIPs
For anyone who's interested, I started putting up WIPs on my Tumblr blog here:

I have several steps up for "the Tactician", and I also just started a new drawing for Dragon Age Origins. :)
Oh and I just finished Dragon Age Origins. Loghain and Morrigan making love will never leave my head. Haha!
Wow check out Blepharopsis' amazing photos!
Awesome closeups pf amphibians and bugs!

Bastila! We totally ruled the galaxy together. :D
Recently I am busily drawing a new picture for that bioware gallery thing coming up. To pump myself up as much as humanly possible, I've been listening to the ME soundtracks (including LotSB) all day at work (coding to Legion's theme is awesome!) and all night at home (fights the overwhelming sleeper onslaught as I draw late into the night...). With a one hour commute each way, that's about 14 hours a day of ME blasting my ears. It's starting to play in my dreams now... who knew dreams have bgms? o.o;
I just found out femShep has the voice of Bastila! So weird... I would have never guessed. I wish femShep had a cool accent like that. :)
